General Purchase Terms

- All items are sold AS IS, WHERE IS with all faults; no warranties, express or implied. NO REFUNDS, RETURNS, OR EXCHANGES.

- All bids are considered legally binding contracts and all sales are final.

- Please do not bid if you do not have the funds available to pay the entire premium charged, this includes winning bid, buyer’s premium, sales tax, and shipping if applicable.

- Items are available for inspection from the time they become available for pre bidding until 5:00 p.m. on the date of the auction.

- Please contact us in advance to schedule an inspection or pickup time to minimize wait at our warehouse.

Viewing, Inspection & Pick Up Policy

- On site inspections and local pick up are available by appointment only and are subject to availability and site capacity. Appointments may be refused if they would exceed parking or safety limits.

- Due to limited parking at our current location, on site pick up is restricted. While the new parking facility is under construction, some items will be shipped by default.

- Buyers may request additional photographs or detailed images for any lot; sufficient supplemental photos may eliminate the need for an in person inspection. Shipping Rates

- Shipping rates are subject to change. You will be notified if shipping rates increase on items won.

- Items designated as eligible for shipping will start at a flat rate of $10.

- If you buy multiple lots that can be shipped together lowering shipping costs, we will credit your account based on total shipping cost.

- Shipping is the default method for smaller items while on-site parking capacity is limited. If you prefer local pick up for a shippable item, contact us to request an appointment (subject to the appointment policy above).

- If an item is not marked for default shipping and you would like a shipping quote, contact Customer Service.

- Special shipping requests, combined shipping eligibility, or exceptions are handled at our discretion and may incur additional fees.

- Contact Customer Service to schedule inspections, request photos, or arrange shipping/pick up.

Shipping Terms 

- Invoices must be PAID IN FULL before we package and ship your items. 

- Buyer is responsible for all shipping costs unless otherwise agreed in writing.

- Shipping via USPS, FedEx, or UPS is available only for items designated as shippable on the lot listing. Items not listed as shippable are not automatically shipped; request a quote if needed.

- Packages for shippable items will be sent to the buyer’s shipping address on file. Buyers are responsible for ensuring their address is correct. Mibidding.com (Central Michigan Auction House LLC) is not responsible for charges, delays, or non delivery resulting from an incorrect or incomplete address.

- Finalized shipping charges are calculated after the auction when the buyer’s address and total amount of lots purchased is known. Additional shipping charges may be added to the buyer’s invoice which needs to be paid in full before we ship your items.

- You will be notified when shipping charges are updated on invoice.

- Buyers may request a preferred carrier; we will honor preferences when feasible but reserve the right to select the carrier that provides the best combination of cost and service.

- Optional services requested by the buyer (insurance, signature confirmation, expedited delivery, LTL freight, special packaging) are the buyer’s responsibility and will be charged in addition to the base shipping fee.

- If a shipment is returned due to an incorrect address or refusal, the buyer is responsible for return and re shipment charges.

- Mibidding.com (Central Michigan Auction House LLC) is not liable for carrier delays, loss, or damage in transit once the parcel has been delivered to the carrier; claims must be filed with the carrier and may require buyer participation.

Buyer’s Premium

- A buyer’s premium of 18% applies to all purchases in regularly scheduled online auctions.

- If the invoice is paid in full with cash, cashier’s check, or bank wire, a 4% cash discount will be applied to the buyer’s premium (reducing the premium to 14%). This discount does not apply to credit/debit card or digital wallet payments.

- The cash discount is available only if the invoice is paid in full within 7 days of the auction date.

Storage Fees / Liquidated Damages

- If you are the winning bidder, mibidding.com (Central Michigan Auction House LLC) reserves the right to charge any credit card registered to your account for the total invoice amount due, including storage fees, buyer’s premium, taxes, bid amount, and a non refundable restocking fee of $20 per lot if items are not paid for and shipped/picked up within 14 days of the auction date.

- After 14 days with an outstanding account balance, items will be considered abandoned and/or forfeited to mibidding.com. At that time, we reserves the right to relist/resell any items considered abandoned or forfeited if invoice is not paid in full and items are not removed from the auction location within 14 days.

- Partial payments are not accepted. Invoices must be paid in full. All payments must be made in U.S. funds.

Proxy Bidding

- The Proxy Bid system allows a bidder to enter a maximum bid. The system will automatically outbid competing bidders, up to that maximum, by the applicable increment for the item.

- To initiate a maximum bid, you must bid at least $2 more than the current amount (minimum increment requirement). Once placed, your proxy will keep you as the leading bidder up to your maximum bid amount.

Dynamic Bidding End Time

- Posted closing times are approximate and mibidding.com reserves the right to close early or extend auctions at its discretion.

- Dynamic bidding: an auction will not close until there has been 10 minutes of bidding inactivity after the posted closing time. The system extends the auction from the preset closing time in 10 minute intervals (not 10 minutes from the time of the last bid). Placing a maximum bid alleviates the stress of trying to beat the clock, but we encourage you to watch items you are interested in until the end of the auction to prevent being outbid.

Sales Tax

- All items are subject to 6% Michigan sales tax.

- If you are tax exempt, please notify us. You will need to fill out form 3372 Michigan Sales and Use Tax Certificate of Exemption, and send to our office prior to the end of the auction.

Item Condition & Finality of Sale

- All bids are considered legally binding contracts and all sales are final. 

- All items are sold AS IS, WHERE IS, with NO guarantee, warranty, or refund, express or implied.

- The working or running condition of an item may not be known and may not always be described. Buyers should rely on their inspection and any supplemental photos.

- No bids may be withdrawn once submitted before, during, or after the auction for any reason.

- The buyer agrees that these terms and any other terms may be amended or revised only in writing and signed by approved office staff. Oral representations by mibidding.com (Central Michigan Auction House LLC) do not modify these terms.

- All descriptions provided in advertising are believed to be correct but are not guaranteed. mibidding.com (Central Michigan Auction House LLC) and the seller assume no responsibility for errors or omissions.
